Edit 1:
Edit 2:

And now the details. I used the same basic editing, using Gimp, for both:
-Crop
-Erase the blemish on her chin with the healing brush
-Used fx-foundry EG ISO noise reduction
-Bumped up the contrast to 3
-Unsharp mask
And for edit number one I added:
-Fx-foundry simple duotone
-Sharpened the eyes with unsharp mask
-Bumped up the contrast again, to 4
For edit number two:
-Added a couple of textures
-Sharpened the eyes with unsharp mask

Oh, I love the softness of the first edit!
Very pretty. I love how you brought out the crispness in her eyes.
Very pretty!
So pretty! Great job. I love seeing what you're doing with GIMP. I also have gimp but only know how to use about 5% of the tools on there. Haha. remember the thing you posted about making the photo look vintage? I can't for the life of me figure it out!! Any advice? ;)
Beautiful! I love the first edit. She's such a sweet looking little girl, too.
